What Is Covered
Our warranty provides comprehensive structural protection for your container investment. We ensure that every unit meets high industry standards for durability and performance.
- Structural integrity of the steel mainframe and corner castings.
- Water-tightness of the roof and side panels against environmental leakage.
- Proper functioning of locking bars and door hinges.
- Floor stability and weight-bearing capacity as per original specifications.
All containers undergo a rigorous inspection and grading process prior to release. Warranty coverage is specific to the grade of container purchased (New, Cargo Worthy, or Wind & Watertight).
What Is Not Covered
Notice: These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Normal wear and tear, including surface rust, paint chips, or minor dents acquired after delivery.
- Damage caused by third-party logistics or unauthorized lifting equipment during relocation.
- Improper site preparation, including unlevel grounding resulting in door misalignment.
- Modifications made to the container structure after the point of sale without prior written consent.
- Acts of God, natural disasters, or extreme environmental exposure beyond standard operational limits.
- Theft, vandalism, or intentional misuse of the container for hazardous storage not disclosed at purchase.
How to Make a Warranty Claim

Contact us in writing
Send an email to sales@urcontainerstorage.com including your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description of the claim.
Assessment
We will acknowledge your claim within 2 working days. Our technical team will assess the information and may arrange an inspection if necessary.
Resolution
Valid claims will be resolved by repair, replacement, or refund within 10 working days of the assessment completion.
Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
Container Maintenance Tips
- Regularly lubricate door hinges and locking bars with heavy-duty grease.
- Ensure the container is placed on level, stable ground to prevent structural racking.
- Keep the roof clear of standing water, leaves, and debris to prevent localized corrosion.
- Check door seals annually for signs of wear or cracking and replace if necessary.
- Treat any surface scratches or minor rust spots quickly with zinc-rich primer and touch-up paint.
